Hi James, Just a quick note to say thank you for the fabulous time we had with you. To walk within 15 feet of a totally relaxed leopard and to follow it for 5 minutes or so is something that will be indelibly printed in my mind. Then to catch a tigerfish of 5/6 kg just by the camp, things just got better and better. What a nice crew you have and they all do you proud, even in 40plus degrees of heat. We had a great time at Mwambashi. We saw 3 Leopards, 3 Lions, numerous plainsgame, caught 40 tigerfish approx and 2 Vundu weighing 55lbs and 60lbs. It was sad to leave, but Zambia has produced the best game viewing that I have ever seen and I have seen quite alot. James and Tim:
We will never forget you stopping when we were walking through the bush and quietly telling us to listen and then we heard a very subtle - whoosh, whoosh sound the sound of elephant ears fanning to cool themselves off. Amazing. And, I do not think I will forget you leading me literally crawling from thicket to thicket - to try to get closer to a Cape Buffalo herd to get a better picture. Actually, Lois got a good picture of us on our hands and knees trying to stay out of sight of the herd. Thanks for that. The whole experience with you gave Africa an impressive reality that we would not have had otherwise. Your walking safaris are something not to be missed. As we were leaving and we told you that we needed more time, we could not have been more sincere. It was the highlight of our month in southern Africa. Thanks and best wishes. Walking up close to Buffalo with the care and safety required is a thrilling experience "Sunset on the Zambezi, leopard tracks behind our tent and elephants, elephants, elephants. Our trip with Vintage Safari's was more than we ever imagined. The thrill of walking through an African National Park with James our guide and consummate teacher is an experience we will cherish forever." "On reflection, the hi-lights of my Zambezi experience were countless, A truly wonderful safari; excitement, great food, fine wine, fun company, a
"You were responsible for the quality of my once-in-a-lifetime 60th birthday treat holiday. Learning and relearning the wild places and birds and animals and insects. Being called to a cold beer or gin-and-tonic by the sounds of the accordion or the gramophone. Making string from the baobab bark. Trying to make fire. Top quality. I - we all - enjoyed it enormously."
"A million thanks for a wonderful few days - fantastic to finally get over and see your operation at work, and I loved every minute."
"We will highly recommend it!"
