Lluis Gonzalez and family - Malawi Tour - July 2009 Dear Timothy,
We are happy to tell you that our trip around Malawi was really great. We didn't have any problems. Regarding Land and Lake Safaris, everything turned out to be as planned. Kuchawe Inn is still only for well-off people. The manager was very kind to us.
Zomba Forest Lodge was wonderful in landscape and situation, as you said to us, it is to feel at home. To us, from Spain, it was like a British home, but at home we have electricity... I liked Salomon and his cuisine. Salima was good, but the weather was bad. The lake was really rough.
Liwonde National Park, Mvuu camp, was great. Just missed the rhino, as you had expected and informed us. I have to say that one of the best things has been Henry, the guide: educated, punctual, good driver, always kind and patient, answering all our questions and sensitive to our needs and tastes. Honestly, much better than the guides we had in Namibia. And Henry, speaks English in a way, we from Spain, can understand, different from the usual English in Africa. I hope Henry is also happy with us? In short, we are very happy about our tour there, I'd recommend your company to everyone going to Malawi. You can quote me whenever you wish, if you think this can be useful for your business.
Thanks again. It's been so pleasant to deal with you.
Sincerely, Lluis Gonzalez and family

Mark & Chloe - Malawi & Zambia Tour - April 2009
Yes, hello! We are home and wow, it was incredible. WELL DONE for the planning! Mark and I really really enjoyed our time at Mua and Chembe, less touristy and definately cultural. Henry and Raphael were the guide/cook, awesome food and tours around with just the 2 of us (which was a nice surprise). We did quite a bit of driving but it mostly during 1 day stints so it was well planned in that way. We got to see a lot of different angles of Africa and it was awesome. I have so many pics and vids so it's taking a while to sort but if you have my travelblog info, you can read more of what we were up to! The safari was awesome, seen so many great animals and met some awesome people there too.
Our part of the trip got a little crazier but we managed to get everywhere and learn a lot of things about travelling in Africa! Vic Falls was incredible, tons and tons of water everywhere, got soaked. We ended up doing a heli ride so we got an even better view of the falls. It felt like a very quick trip but we did sooo much and I took every opportunity to try new stuff. We didn't manage to eat much African cuisine though, just the popcorn and lots of soft drinks.
Thanks for all your help in arranging such a wonderful itinerary for us. It was a total blast. Sincerely, Chloe
Brooke Sayer - Two Teachers and 19 Students - Tanzania Safari - March 2009
Amazing Trip!! Just like you said, the trip was absolutely amazing!!! We are all so sad that it’s over! The safari was excellent - we saw all the animals (including 3 leopards, 5 cheetahs and a rhino), the campsites were beautiful, the food was delicious, the maasi were interesting, the guides were wonderful. They even judged our Jambo Jambo Tanzanian idol competition. Everyone had so much fun! We can’t thank you enough for organizing it! We are collecting our pictures for a slide show in 2 weeks and the father of one of our students is making the video (we have over 6 hours of footage I think). I think we talked about sending the DVD or pictures to you – let me know what you would like.
And thank you again for organizing it, I still can’t believe its over! Brooke.

If we should travel to africa again we would only want Greg & Nico. Both guides are very competent and professional and compliment each other! Phebe the group leader of All Round Travel Ltd from Canada who brought the guests commented the following for the tour designed specifically for these 16 Motocyclists:
What were the highlights of the trip? 'Everything'
The Guides: Great!!! The Best!! We loved them!!
Phebe checked everything as excellent - Thanks Phebe!
Mont & Andena Hibbard - 9 Day 'Complete Zambezi Safari' May 2008
"Our time with Vintage Safaris was absolutely the best. The wildlife, the food, the service were beyond our wildest expectations. We learned so very much, made friends and gained a real appreciation of the bush. The experience cannot be recommended highly enough. Mont & Andena"

James and Tim:
We want to thank you for the fabulous time we had with you. It was truly an unbelievable experience, probably one of the strongest in our lives.
We lived four days inside real Africa getting in touch with nature and animals like never before. In that situation we experienced the magic of feeling the strength of nature and how weak we can be in front of it. At the same time we had all the comfort and the protection we desired. The best memory we have, and we'll always carry with us, is about an afternoon tour inside the camp of a young elephant: he came so close to us, and it was so exciting that now we can't explain it with some words.
Moreover we were the lucky actors of the "movie" you produced with "mythical" Geoff, the director, that added something special to our adventure.
Thanks a lot, we will never forget the time spent with you and we suggest everyone who wants to try a real safari not to miss this one.
The Simpsons - Zambia Sunset on the Zambezi, Leopard tracks behind our tent and elephants, elephants, elephants. Our trip with Vintage Safari's was more than we ever imagined. The thrill of walking through an African National Park with James our guide and consummate teacher is an experience we will cherish forever."
